On the face of it, I think McCain, while clearly irritated and dismissive of Obama, came across zippier and unloaded a lot of proper nouns. Obama was more pointed than in previous debates but seemed to let McCain get away with some obvious misrepresentations.
Will undecideds be drawn to McCain's agitated demeanor and consistent references to Obama's naivete, or will they find it repellent?
They both got some cheap shots in, and played to their bases, and I have a feeling McCain will get good feedback from his performance.
