Given the recent change in tenor at McCain/Palin events, I must say that I was very relieved to see McCain tell an audience that he respects Obama and wants to keep the campaign about issues. The video is compelling because of the audience's reaction: they boo him. But he stands his ground and argues FOR Obama against audience members' ignorant comments and questions.
I will be very eager to see where this leads. It is a stark shift for the better and I hope it continues.
