John McCain was interviewed on Imus this morning and offered the normal boilerplate responses to the questions. What struck me was his defiant tone, strange laughter, inability to answer questions thoughtfully, and the assertion that Sarah Palin is the most qualified VP candidate in recent history.
More qualified than Cheney?
More qualified than Lieberman?
More qualified than Gore?
That seemed an untenable assertion on McCain's part.
