Raw Milk

In keeping with the theme of local food systems, I visited a fairly local farmers market this afternoon and found a the stand for Beaver Brook Farm, a farm that sells raw milk, which, apparently, can't be sold in all states - including Massachusetts. So we are going to try some this weekend when we pick it up Saturday morning.

I asked her to describe it and she said, "It's really creamy. In fact, you have to shake it up before you drink it because all of the butter cream settles."
We'll see how it goes with GrapeNuts.
